President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a Decree " on the creation of a free economic zone "Andijon-Pharm".
The main tasks and activities of FEZ "Andijon-Pharm" are defined:
- attracting investments and advanced technologies of leading companies from the Republic of India to create modern production facilities for the production of pharmaceutical products and medicines with high added value, including in the form of " in-bulk»;
- creation of new modern production facilities and facilities for the processing of medicinal plant raw materials and the production of finished medicines, medical products, auxiliary and packaging materials;
- ensuring the integrated and effective use of the production and resource potential of the Andijan region in the cultivation of medicinal plant raw materials in natural conditions for its subsequent processing;
- deepening the processes of localization of production of pharmaceutical products on the basis of local medicinal plant raw materials by establishing close cooperation ties and the development of industrial cooperation between the organizations of the free pharmaceutical zone and the country as a whole;
– rapid development of utilities, transport and social infrastructure of SEZ "Andijon-farm" and the establishment of the modern infrastructure, quality of logistics services;
- participation in the training of highly qualified specialists on the basis of current and future needs of FEZ "Andijon-Pharm" in specialized personnel, including through their practical training at the enterprises located in the territory of FEZ "Andijon-Pharm".
